He's not eligible, and even though he advocates supporting Trump with a vote, he has expressed opposition to Trump, even after Cruz dropped out. His justification for voting for Trump is purely "lesser of two evils."
Lesser of two evils is my reason also. Anything but hillary or sanders.
OTOH, and recognizing that, of all here who express concern over the NBC clause, you were one that made the very best and most competent precedent-based arguments, it is time to note that Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio have been driven from the race and that Comrade Grandma was born of American citizen parents in northern Illinois.
If Trump wins in November (and even I will vote for him over Comrade Grandma), there will be plenty of time for victory laps. Until then, it does not pay to rub it in. For Trump to win, gather as many disappointed conservatives behind him in every way you know how. Use honey, not vinegar.
