Ted Cruz is quitting the presidential race, according to campaign manager Jeff Roe, ending one of the best-organized campaigns of 2016

The smart part of Cruz's campaign was riding on Trump's coat tails up until the Iowa caucus. It gave him protection while the other candidates got knocked off one by one. His downfall was the Iowa Caucus and the "Carson is quitting" debacle. It set in motion a never ending trail of slimy campaign tactics, something the electorate has become extremely tired of and generally pissed off a lot of people. Cruz exposed himself as being untrustworthy. I think it was only a matter of time. Thank God we found out before it was too late.
