My notes:

Ted talking about God and rights. Talking about Constitution.

America stands up for evil in the world and confronts it. America is kind. We are not boastful and keep the peace through strength. We do not use strength for conquest.

He talks about his mom and dad. His dad suffered torture in Cuba. Ted is that son who came from his humble origins to run for POTUS, Rafael Cruz started out washing dishes in the United states.

Talks about Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan spoke of our party then and should also talk about America now and Soviet Communism was consigned to the ash heap of history.

Challenges are just as great today. Constitutional rights are under threat. Russia is again a threat. China is showing aggression. Iran is posing as a nuclear threat.

Cruz gives a litany of challenges that threaten us as a nation. These challenges are for this generation.

Cruz talks about the kid’s lemon aid stand money he received for his fight. Ted is grateful for all of the support. Thanks his wife, kids, his prayer warrior mom, and his dad traveling the nation preaching the Gosple and Carly Fiorina.

The movement that has been started, will be closed tonight.

He is giving a concession speech. With a heavy heart and boundless enthusiasm for the future of this nation. He is suspending his campaign. His movement will continue and will work to continue it with all of his strength. Will work to fight on as long as he has strength to fight on.

Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas said Tuesday night that he was suspending his campaign to be the GOP presidential candidate, potentially ending any real battle for the party’s nomination.

Earlier in the evening NBC News projected that Donald Trump would easily win the GOP primary in Indiana. Cruz was the only candidate to notch multiple state victories against the real estate magnate, surviving a crowded field of experienced politicians and political newcomers alike. (Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida had won three contests include Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico).
But the glow of those Cruz victories had faded after Trump won a resounding series of seven straight victories.

“From the beginning I’ve said that I would continue on as long as there was a viable path to victory. Tonight, I’m sorry to say, it appears that path has been foreclosed,” Cruz said during a Tuesday night speech. “The voters chose another path, and so with a heavy heart, but with boundless optimism for the long-term future of our nation, we are suspending our campaign.”

Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich were seeking to keep Trump from reaching 1,237 delegates, which would allow them to force a convention fight. That in turn could possibly mean someone other than Trump coming out of as the GOP’s general election candidate.

But that result appeared less likely after Trump’s strong Indiana showing.

“Obviously Trump’s victory in Indiana makes the road ahead more challenging,” a representative from the #NeverTrump PAC said in a Tuesday evening statement, adding that the group will continue to seek to oppose him.
For its part, the Kasich campaign said in a statement posted on Facebook that the Indiana results “are not going to alter” the candidate’s plan.

“Our strategy has been and continues to be one that involves winning the nomination at an open convention,” the Kasich campaign said.

Just after NBC announced Trump’s projected victory, the New York real estate magnate tweeted out an insult aimed at Cruz.

looks like hes through

actually no. A concession speech usually admits defeat and congratulates the winner. This dope never did either thing. And the movement was started by Trump it’s undeniable. Cruz is trying to take credit for something he had no hand in starting. Pretty typical for a ly’in Ted.
