It’s still a little snarky. Trump is not respected by the deep thinkers on the establishment right. They really have the nerve to suggest that people only support Trump as a great big protest vote. I for one was a Cruz supporter from the beginning. As Cruz has gravitated to the more religious constituencies I have had to rethink my position. Trump pushed his buttons and he lost his composure.
My wife has been a Trump supporter since he announced. She likes that he speaks from his heart and not a teleprompter. I think she is pretty typical as a woman voter. We expect Trump to win and we are looking forward to what comes afterwards. I think he has the best interests of outlet country at heart, regardless of how he comes down on social issues.

I’m not voting for Trump because of spite, I’m voting for a better future.

Very well said FRiend. I too, began as a solid Cruz supporter about this time last year but after Trump entered the race, even before Cruz took off his “my friend Donald” mask, I was seeing things in his campaign and in his demeanor that concerned me. A MAJOR factor was his bringing that fruitcake Glenn Beck on board and then turning his political campaign into something just short of an old time religious revival traveling tent show. I knew he would lose a lot of support from those who are NOT in the fervent evangelical camp, and we are seeing that play out now.
