This would be a whole lot easier to take seriously from a guy who didn’t actually believe he was Moses. ;)
He should tone it down.
This is Cruz’s problem, he pours gasoline on a stove fire and wonders why his neighbors complain about the fire trucks. He makes enemies for life - deep bitter vengeful grudges that do not have to be. “You get more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.” He does think he is some kind of holy religious leader, above all the sinful sodomites that he has come to save. A pure messianic complex that is getting very tiring! He has good points but I never saw someone so obsessed with himself - and for all his damn self importance - it would have been much better had he gone into the military, and showed the nation what sacrifice really is, before becoming a professional politician!
