CRUZ: I'm going to tell you what I really think of Donald Trump. This man is a pathological liar. He doesn't know the difference between truth and lies. He lies practically every word that comes out of his mouth. And in a pattern that I think is straight out of a psychology textbook, his response is to accuse everybody else of lying.

Maybe it’s just me but when I saw Cruz on television earlier, he had Heidi on one side of him and Carly on the other. Those two women had the longest faces and I sensed a lot of tension.
People who call Trump a narcissist simply have no idea what the term means. It is a serious Personality Disorder that Trump shows no sign of.
Trump is a showman who has created a larger than life public persona. Some see this in the context of his Trump brand, understand Trump’s Art of the Deal approach to situations, and don’t mind or actually like this persona. Some people purely hate it. But like, love, hate or couldn’t care less about it, it’s leagues away from narcissism.
And in our family we spank liars.

I have seen people repeating over and over again that Ted Cruz is a liar. I've seen Trump refer to him as "Lyin' Ted", but I have not actually seen any real evidence that Cruz has lied about anything.

I don’t understand how anyone can not now see this man as a lunatic.
He has had supposed Christians proclaim he is anointed by God to be President - this makes him and these charlatans false prophets/teachers.
He had the lunatic Beck do a ‘swearing in’ ceremony - he willingly went along with it!!!
The list goes on and on. There is NO ONE who can hold a candle to his narcissism, including Obama.

Cruz has absolutely zero chance of getting enough delegates, and yet he remains in the race.

I think he might hope so, but it is not very likely. The Trump phenomena has created a preference cascade, and at this point it is just mob psychology.
You can't turn a mob with reason. You pretty much can't turn them with anything. They just have to come to their senses on their own.

Narcissists typically leave a trail of dysfunctional social chaos among their families, friends, and workplaces. Whereas Trump’s social ties appear to be remarkably stable over the course of many decades

The first one off the top of my head is spreading false stories that Ben Carson was dropping out (a couple weeks before he actually did). Is one example sufficient, or shall we compile a list?

For me it has been sad watching Cruz come unglued. I was very impressed with him at first. Then came the teddy bears and Beck and his lies about Carson. Still, I thought he could recover. His juvenile behavior at the ABC debate coupled with his statement after the Chicago violence - coupled with a few other things - revealed that he was not ready for POTUS and that his conservatism was questionable. His obsession with Trump kept growing to a point where now he appears unhinged and removed from reality.
