For months, Ohio Gov. John Kasich has been arguing that he should be the Republican nominee for president because polls show he would defeat Democrat Hillary Clinton in the general election while front-runner Donald Trump would lose.

Look, if your own base won't vote for you, what makes you think that the full voting population is going to vote for you?

Kasich lives in dream land, Ohio should be apologizing to the nation for giving this guy a win there instead of closing out the primary 6 weeks ago.

The primary was over that night, but thanks to the Kasich win in OHIO it let the idiotic contested convention and other crap go on and dragged the primary season on for another 6 weeks needlessly.

Kasich isn’t a bad guy, but he never had any chance at the nomination, and for Ohio to just throw a temper tantrum like they did, shows me that long term, the GOP just needs to redefine the map and get Ohio out of the “must win” category, the place electorally is just too bi-polar.
