On July 19th 2014 Senator Ted Cruz went to McAllen Texas and passed out bags of goodies, treats and toys to illegal aliens as they crossed the border from Mexico.

Showing care to children who have no control over the situation is a bad thing?
How many did you take in MR./MS. holier than thou?
In this case YES.
Lyin-Ted was using those kids as a prop to pander to illegals. I'm sure if those kids needed any care they could have gotten it from an aide worker, NOT a sitting US Senator.
Once again Lyin-Ted shows he is unfit for any public office. He CANNOT be trusted
“Showing care to children who have no control over the situation is a bad thing?”
Yes, when you do so at our expense of letting in illegal aliens.
According to Cruz’s spokeswoman:
Private charities and churches are stepping up to provide food, medicine, and toys for these young children, which is a compassionate response that embodies American values, she continued. But the most compassionate responsewhich Senator Cruz is leading the fight to accomplishis to end the Presidents amnesty and to humanely and expeditiously reunite these children with their families back home.
You would honestly let children starve?
I saw it as Cruz highlighting the disastrous Obama border policies.
“You would honestly let children starve?”
Did anyone say “starve”? Do you have a retardation issue with reading comprehension??
We’re talking about ted Cruz and Glenn Beck handing out teddy bears at the border welcoming illegal aliens.
Try sticking to the topic and not make up childish fantasies.
I’m sorry, you’re right. Your kind response has changed my mind about Trump and his supporters and I will now vote for him.
Really?? How do Teddy Bears and soccer balls do that and since he has been absent from his job in the senate this year has anything been done by him to accomplish that goal? I think not. This was a PR stunt to show how magnanimous he is supposed to be. Rewards for wrongdoing are undoing our nation.
Another bleeding heart liberal. Start by giving into one. End by economically collapsing under the weight of a huge bureaucratic welfare system. Yes, government has no business in charity. Let Mexico feed itself.
There are plenty of poor children who are US citizens to whom Cruz could have given toys and candy to. The fact that the specifically chose the children of illegals as a charity case sent a political message, whether intended or not: "Welcome illegals."

Watch the video.
What a tool.
Well, if we’re reliving old times; remember when Trump said he really liked and respected Hillary? Does that count?
“remember when Trump said he really liked and respected Hillary”
Businesses are vulnerable and need to be nice to politicians and not make enemies of them. Trump’s businesses are very vulnerable. As a businessman he needed to keep on the good side of politicians.
Now that Trump is running for office his concern is the future of our country.
I’ve seen the video. They claim that was part of a strategy. Sen. Sessions defended him.

I will not be voting for this in the primary:
