What a bunch of nonsense. The Louisiana coast is eroding for many reasons, none of which have to do with climate change.

Can you say “Army Corps of Engineers?” Geez.

Oldplayer
mid-Oklahoma (Where climate change is responsible for tornados, winter snow storms, earthquakes and hot weather in August. We’re suffering here, people, but it hurts our women folk and children the most.)

The article even mentions those reasons, both natural and man made, and then goes on to say that rising waters from climate change will finnish the job. Who takes over this land when the inhabitants are moved off?

And it talks about some poor family using a hot plate because floods from a storm ruined their stove. Maybe it’s just me, but if my stove was ruined in a natural disaster I’d just buy another one.

One of the biggest reasons for it is the efforts we've made in flood control. To keep the La delta built up, you have to have massive flooding to bring the silt in from upstream. The issues Louisiana is facing have little to nothing to do with any "climate change", and everything to do with our development of the coast, and along the Mississippi River.
