I think Cruz is a sociopath, and I’m not sure sociopaths have “mental breakdowns” the same way the other 94% of the population does. No conscience, no empathy, awesome actors. i think the reaction is regroup, and find a new target.

Well that’s logical and correct. If he indeed has anti-social personality disorder. Maybe my posts show a little of my wounds. I’ve had more than my fair share of dealing with people who have mega issues. Won’t get any deeper—painful.
