In one regard, I feel sorry for him. He seems socially inept. I do think he's a real smart guy. I think this just doesn't come naturally for him, so he's put a lot of study into it. I do believe he's derailed. But I have beloved family members that are my heart and life who are brilliant and a bit disconnected. Because of them, I have great sorrow for Cruz. I so wish him peace. I think he's made some really poor choices on the campaign, and forgotten his integrity. I think he's been a bad judge of character when picking those close to him. I do hope he can step back and re-orient himself.
Cruz has no path forward to the nomination.
He needs more delegates than are available.
After tonight, a contested convention looks remote.
That was sweet. I think the same way - I think in a few months, he’ll look back with a lot of regret and embarrassment. He’s also being pushed by a lot of people and it’s probably easy to get a bug head over what people say, especially if never very popular.
Probably goes back to Iowa with the intimidating-like letter ads looking like a ‘fine’ for not voting plus the Ben Carson thing. Trump just comes across better too. Cruz should not be taking it so personally just stay on message for goodwill toward the future.
I agree with your assessment. Cruz is bitter and angry because he is a pathological personality that was raised to believe he was God’s chosen by a very mental father. It must really be confusing for them both because most pathological liar truly believe their lies. Then you throw a loon like Beck in the mix and it is a disaster.
He is left disappointing his nutty dad, has no friends (Beck will walk) and a family who don’t appear to love him. If he weren’t hurting my country by not helping stop Hillary I could pity the man.
