Unthinkable? I think it's expected, if of course he can add and is at all perceptive of his surroundings.
I predict he won't. But the only thing really affected is details of the press narrative going forward, and the timing of the press ignoring him. Trump has enough of the upcoming primaries "in the bag" that he's got a clear path to nomination. I don't think the party has the stomach to run a contested convention if Trump has 1300 pledged first ballot delegates "on paper."
A silver lining for Cruz persisting. That will unmask the establishment "ruling elite / globalist" members very well.
