Since when have psychiatrists been associated with sanity? Since when did psychiatry become regarded as a natural science rather than a social science?

Two different things. The current phenomenon is not someone born with mixed up chromosomes. It is an infatuation with being the opposite sex. The transgender craze is not a sober, scientific examination of who someone is biologically because there is no question with these people.
The current insanity is, like the homosexuality fad, based on accepting and living a lie to the destruction of the individual in question. No matter how much effort is put into muddying the water, the truth remains. All you will accomplish is preventing the people who need it most from seeing it.
