FYI: Today the very same rumor from two different (and trusted) sources suggest Senator Ted Cruz’s campaign is currently engaged in ongoing discussions regarding the subject of suspending the campaign as early as this week should the Texas senator lose tomorrow’s Indiana primary.

Perhaps the reason for the rumor is to setup Trump ?
I really think Cruz will come to his senses if that happens.
If not, he's in a world of trouble when he runs again for anything.

Yes, it’s time, and that comes from one who not too long ago was backing Cruz. I still like him more in some ways, but Trump clearly has what it takes to get people behind him, without which an agenda goes nowhere.
Also, if he graciously exits and backs Trump now, then Kasich HAS to get out.
One thing puzzles me though - which was Cruz’s idiotic idea to prematurely name Carly as VP. Given her feud with Trump. it would seem that he closed the door on the strategy we’ve discussed...unless he got her to go long with that beforehand if their ploy didn’t work, or (more likely perhaps) he doesn’t mind leaving her foaming at the mouth and hanging her out to dry if/when he goes down the Trump-support exit-strategy road.
I don’t believe any of these type of rumors in general.
It’s campaign staff who want to shop themself somewhere else to Kasich or the RNC or a big Senate campaign.
It would make sense. And if so Cruz may yet redeem himself. I think he has already gone too far for some though.
