It's actually a happy story. The subject of the "overly attached girlfriend" meme is one Laina Morris and since the meme went viral, she's been able to make a decent living out of it and has over a million YouTube subscribers.

Would not be surprised if she is now a millionaire.

One downside, she doesn't have a boyfriend. Evidently they've all been scared off!

Lol! Good for her. If I was single, I’d contemplate it. I can handle crazy apparently haha.
