Piker. I've been lurking ever since a group of us non-lazy, super-active FReepers dumped all that tea into Boston Harbor. I read the after-action reports of the Lexington and Concord protest, and I was in fact standing vigil outside Colonel Barrett's farm (we called him "Dirty Jim Barrett" back in the day) when the British light infantry showed up looking for cannon. I helped set up George Washington's tent during that Valley Forge incident as well.
Granted, FR wasn't quite as optimized back in the good ole' days -- we had to send in our posts via stage-rider, and JimRob published them in a semi-monthly circular once he got the type set. A lot of times our comments didn't even make it because of Indians killing the stage-riders. Got your beeber stuned? Try getting your beeber scalped.
I was with Washington when he took over from Braddock during the massacre. Been scared shitless since.
