As for Jim’s stances, Cruz was his number one pick until his campaign all but collapsed. So to proclaim that Jim sees Trump as some sort god is outright delusional. Cruz had his chance and he fell flat on his face. It is time to stand behind the front runner and fight with him against the evil of Hillary Clinton.
If you have been around since 2000, you should know that when the time comes we consolidate around the front runner in effort to defeat the Democrats. It hasn’t always worked out, but that is what is needed.
I find it odd for people that pretend to love conservatism and the constitution more than the “trash” that supports Trump, they are always pulling their sign-up dates as if that makes them FR aristocracy, and therefore they have more authority than anyone else, and the permission to dump on anyone that came to this site after that point.

Are you serious? Wasn’t Romney the front runner? I don’t recall to many people here rallying around Romney. In fact, if you supported him with to much fervor you were banned. The original poster is right. Free Republic is nothing but a shell of it’s former self. A lot of very good, thoughtful people were run off simply for disagreeing.
