He was talking about doing your taxes on a post card. That is useless silliness that won’t do much to resolve this nation’s problems.
Ted isn’t offering solutions.
“Ted isnt offering solutions.”
Actually he is. It’s just no one is listening.

Doing taxes on a post card is a reference to a flat tax and this is a truly GREAT idea. Taxes should and must be paid by ANYONE who avails themselves of services provided by the public sector.
Sillier than writing "I win" on a postcard and sending that in?
"It's going to be huge, okay? We're going to be so great, okay? The country is going to be so wonderful, okay? We don't win. We're going to win. And you're going to get tired of winning."
I wonder if Ted would expect us to have our Social Security number on this hypothetical postcard, for anyone to see and steal.
Ted isnt offering solutions.
Cruz's tax plan will do more to keep businesses in America than all of Donald Trump's empty rhetoric.
Shifting business taxes from net income to revenue means taxes will be collected on every iPhone made in China, but sold in the U.S.
Replacing both the business income tax and the payroll tax to a revenue tax means that iPhone will fund Social Security and Medicare even when jobs are lost in the U.S.
Right now, these taxes (U.S. net income, U.S. payroll taxes) are a big part of why U.S. companies outsource jobs to other countries.
The result is there will be much less financial advantage for offshoring manufacturing. If the air conditioner is made in Indiana or Mexico, Carrier is going to pay their taxes.
It also will make it much easier to start and operate a small business, or to work as a contractor (Uber, Etsy, etc.).
Ted Cruz's tax plan is a 21st Century tax plan. We are still operating using a tax system designed for 1950.
