Today’s clip was of him crying on F Chuck Todd’s show.....but, but.....it’s for my children.....I won’t get out of this race.....for my children.

I actually think this is a bit of a Freudian slip on the part of Cruz. Deep down, I think he knows the divorce is coming following his getting out of the race and definitively denying Heidi her shot at First Lady. The body language between Heidi and Ted has been pretty obvious for the past month. Carly has done nothing to assuage it, even with her acting out the role of singing nanny with the kids.

So, in a divorce, for Ted Cruz it will be ...for his children.
