Comparing his interaction with the Trump supporter today, with how he describes it tonight, he does much better when he is in total control of the remarks. Trump, OTOH, does very well interacting.

Yep. Not a team player at all. This guy does not know how to make a deal.

On an academic level, he probably is. he got high marks because he could argue any side of an issue equally well. He has good memory, and will work with whatever "facts" are at play. Trouble is, in a real world contest, he distorts the facts so much that he becomes "incredible" in the negative sense of the word, nothing he says is credible, so his argument falls flat.

I am way past angry with him and the RNC for running as an ineligible candidate. That is flat unforgivable to me. I'm withholding ultimate judgment because maybe he is "gaming" as a way to expose Congress seating the usurper, Obama, but I really doubt that objective is animating Cruz at all.
