Good morning/good afternoon everybody.
Question for hoosiermama-
In IL., the election parameters for placing campaign signs outside of polling locations is 100 feet from the entrance, but can be further away, if the location is private, such as a church or business, and the owners request no electioneering occur on any of their property/grounds.
What is Indiana’s parameters for electioneering near polling locations? Thanks.
Fifty feet from the doors. Traditionally we tie a string on door hing and pull it out. At the court house we just encourage all signs in the yard. And people handing out material to use sidewalks beyond the stair areas.
Some areas line the lane into parking lot of facility where people come in to vote
Most signs go up this evening !
