This did happen in my town. I am not sure why people think he was a plant. When I drove by around 1 p.m. he was across the street with other Trump supporters. The event was 12:15 to 1:15. Cruz appeared unhinged to me in the video I saw.
Considering they were surrounded by the entire Cruz apparatus, ol’ homeboy and his posse did pretty damn good debating the debater of all debaters. I think it was spontaneous. I can’t see Mr. Potato Head thinking THAT tactically. There are some very funny comments by the Trump guy finishing Cruz’s sentences.
