South Bend is a city in and the county seat of St. Joseph County, Indiana, United States, on the St. Joseph River near its southernmost bend, from which it derives its name. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total of 101,168 residents; its Metropolitan Statistical Area had a population of 318,586 and Combined Statistical Area of 721,296. It is the fourth-largest city in Indiana, serving as the economic and cultural hub of Northern Indiana. The highly ranked University of Notre Dame is located just to the north in unincorporated Notre Dame, Indiana and is an integral contributor to the region's economy.

The area was originally settled in the early 19th century by fur traders and was established as a city in 1865. The St. Joseph River shaped South Bend's economy through the mid-20th century. River access assisted heavy industrial development such as that of the Studebaker Corporation, the Oliver Chilled Plow Company, and other large corporations.

-- I agree with you that Trump should take RNC money -- but will that hurt him in his claim to self fund? He should start explaining soon what he's gonna do. --

He doesn't need to explain until after he wins the nomination.

I don't think taking money from the RNC hurts his argument about being self funding, because he isn't taking money from an outfit that is directly connected to some specific lobbying goal. If he continues to shun PACs, his argument stands.

-- when self-funding does Trump come under the same reporting requirements as the others (the monthly, quarterly expenditure/income data)? --

Absolutely. He is under those regulations even now. Trump's principal campaign committee ID with the FEC is C00580100, his candidate ID is P80001571.

I don’t think we will see realistic polls until the hildabeast and Trump are nominated.

Great to read about the line up for his rally tonight, gave up watching the clowns on the MSM many years ago.

If it were my kid, I would have told him be more polite and respectful. Instead of saying, “You suck!” Would have been better if he had been more creative... For example.

Young boy-”Ah, excuse me, Mr. Cruz?”

Ted Cruz-”Yes, Young Man?”

Young boy-”Don’t take this in the wrong way, Sir,but IMHO, you suck wet dog fur.”

Ted Cruz-”Well, Young Man, putting it that way gives me more of a visionary, as opposed to being generic and saying that I suck.”

Breaking news for the rally peeps:

Gravis Indiana GOP Poll:

Trump 44, Cruz 27, Kasich 9

Confirmation of NBC/WSJ poll released yesterday. Or at least confirmation of the gap.

Send Kasich ahead of time, and the Cruz entourage will be going hungry.

He’s entitled to that money and would be foolish not to take it.

They also say Retail Event. I put the address to one on bing.com and it appears to be a yogurt shop. I suspect he doesn’t have the money to rent large events and not many show up at smaller venues. So, it appears that the stategery is to get to as many small places as possible, mingle with the folks and hopefully get notice in the small town papers. I had heard early that he and his surrogates would be spreading out across the state; however, it looks like all of them (or at the primary names) are on the same bus.

Diebold, maker of crooked voting machines, is located in North Canton, OHIO...just saying, what does the Governor of Ohio think about the irregularities that have been documented?

The poll has an unusually large number of undecideds... nearly 20%.

Are Indiana voters always so late in making up their minds? Or are they unusually cautious?

Glenn Beck's call for National Day of Fasting for Ted Cruz doesn't seem to be going over well, at least nationally.

Cruz and Pence are in my town today at a local restaurant. About an hour before they were supposed to arrive maybe 5 cars in the parking lot. No lines, no media.
