I won’t bash you for trying to be understanding for this poor chap, but I no longer have any understanding within me. I am fed up beyond description with these clowns.
I have lost some good (cyber) friends over the past couple of months over politics, that is unfortunate, but life goes on.
On a side note, I finished getting the tongue & groove knotty pine walls up in our kitchen today, so I am very happy -—it looks great. Now I have a couple more rooms to finish, some with cedar, and it’s going to be like living in a new house around here. ;>)
I like the idea of knotty pine in the kitchen! In my area there are a lot of beautiful beetle-kill pine cabinets, walls and ceilings.

A story about government and leader-dependence. People get too tied up in the Presidency. I had a cousin who worked in the bowels of the Labor Dept in DC. He was a liberal Dem of course. When Reagan was elected I asked him what he thought as he had been trashing R throughout the campaign. He laughed. “Presidents come and go, we are always here. And we do 90% of what really gets done.”
