What almost bothers me more is the Chinese who are putting up wealthy,pregnant Chinese women in hotels so the baby is born here and is,therefore,a U.S. citizen.Then back to China they go.

Yes that is how it should be, the citizenship should be that of the parents at birth if the parents are not citizens and their children are born here. Otherwise a person needs to go through the immigration process to be naturalized.
