Actually four possible citizenships at birth. Cuban, American, English, Canadian. There are questions being raised that Cruz’ mother took out British citizenship in England, which then fast tracked to Canadian citizenship during her move there with Cruz’ father. Records are sealed. If so, and his mother renounced her American citizenship, Cruz may not be an American citizen and qualified to hold his seat in the Senate. What a mess.

Mess is an understatement.

Her being on the voter rolls in Canada is seeming less and less like a typographical error, too.

Who even verified Cruz was eligible to run for Senator in the first place? He had to have presented something other than a Canadian birth certificate.
