Howie’s radio program is in trouble. Good thing he has the Boston Globe to fall back on.

Howie Carr Radio Network..29 stations
Jeff Kuhner Radio Network...stuck at one.
Howie’s show doing well;as the Deval
Patrick imitator says,”We’re gonna be
fine.” His Herald column and books
also doing well and he has yuuuuge
friendship with the Donald.

Actually Howie writes for the Boston Herald, not the Boston Globe. Maybe you are thinking of somebody else.
He's also a successful author of several books.
When I lived up in Boston, his radio show was a fixture. I'm not sure what you mean when you say his radio program is in trouble. Maybe you are referring to his syndication. If so, I tend to agree. Howie is such a Bostonian and his bread and butter is local Boston politics and crime. I just don't see his show appealing to people outside of New England as they won't know what he's talking about half the time.

I left Boston for good 12 years ago but I still listen to Howie every day via Internet. He is the funniest damn thing on the radio. No one else on earth can talk about all the various ways this country is going Soviet, and do it in such a way that I not only spend four hours laughing, but actually end up happier than I was before the show started. It's near miraculous.
