Here is the problem with FOX News Channel. It’s upper management, Rupert Murdoch & Roger Ailes have jumped the shark, and have gone over to the dark side. I do not know if their viewer decline can be fixed, but.....they better wake up before they lose the entire game. Shows like “The Five”, Neil Cavuto, Shepard Smith, Gretchen Carlson, Brit Hume, George Will, Charles Krauthammer, must go, be cancelled, or fired.....immediately. I would leave the “Prime Time” line-up alone with Greta, O’Reilly, Kelly & Hannity.
I would leave Megy Kelly in her spot....because she has seen the light....realizing that her hate of DJT is not good for her professional life. Her march down to Trump Towers to kneel before Donald Trump, took tremendous courage. She also realizes, she can be tough, but must be balanced....across the board.
Actually, all three cable news networks, FNC, CNN & MSNBC are boring, uninformative with little, “honest & fair” news reporting. No one....with half a brain follows these news stations, with the exception of Election Night broadcasting. They get their news goodies from the electronic world of information, which is light years, more balanced then the TV networks.
Like many, I went from watching Foxnews all the time maybe 5 or so years ago to not at all since Kelly’s komikazi attack. They had been on a steady decline for years though. Always moving left and becoming more and more frivolous in their reporting. It’s the management partly wanting to change and partly being pressured to change I believe. Being part Saudi owned isn’t helping matters. I don’t know if you remember this but there was a time when Obama was constantly railing against Foxnews and threatening regulatory action aimed at Foxnews. Government would place monitors to ensure “reliable” reporting. A lot of stuff was being bandied about. Also they went after Murdock in Great Britain with the Skynews scandal. I just couldn’t imagine a hard hitting investigative cable news channel. That would be a truly revolutionary idea akin to what’s happening under the Trump movement where the layers and false veneers are being pealed back.
Lou Dobbs...excellent, pro Trump , I can’t believe Fox hasn’t fired him yet.
Suggestion to those who live inside their TV. Turn the damn thing off, read, reflect and try growing up.
