Sometimes the rulers were foreign despots, such as during the Babylonian captivity. But mostly, the evil rulers were their own in-house kings, such as Ahab, Jeroboam, Rehoboam, Jehoiakim, etc.
In the Bible, God says that when those whom he loves stray from him, he sometimes chooses to chastize them in order to drive them from their worldly pursuits and back to Himself and His righteousness.

Let’s be honest: with all the money invested in creating a globalist government/economy, with all the money spent on the graft and corruption of the government, with all the pride/status/power tied up in the ‘elite’ in government, it will take an act of God to get Trump into the White House alive, much less surviving the the term should he get in.
I pray that we put into positions of power/authority those who will do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God; that God bring the plans & power of the globalists to ruination, that their money sprouts wings and flies away. (I think I begin to understand Providence like the founders did.)
Trump’s “high dislike” numbers could be enough to lose to, even, Hillary Clinton. Exactly, how does DT overcome his negative numbers with the majority of voters who dislike him and among all conservative voters who have looked at his record and concluded that DT is a fake conservative who will, probably, become a leftist POTUS (and, nobody can do anything about it, after he’s POTUS), even if he does win?
Trump's high negatives are mostly artificial, considering the fact that he's been relentless demonized by the elites of his own party, to include the Cruz campaign as well, of course.
Once the GOP ceases such stupidity, things will lighten up at least somewhat.
Additionally, Donald Trump's negatives can only go down, while Hillary's can only go up.
So I find the hand-wringing concern to be a little disingenuous in light of what's been going on with Donald Trump for the last 6 months at the hands of his own party.
That's why Ted Cruz needs to bow out sooner rather than later, instead of carrying his ridiculous "contested convention" charade for several more weeks.

Mr. Trump does not seem a part of the secret societies per Newt Gingrich’s recent interview. The GOP elite and Dem elite, who are members of secret societies, are two sides with the same goals involving the New World Order (NWO). This NWO end game represents why the decay of America since President Reagan occurred when a secret society member from either party was/is in charge. The main difference is the speed and fear tactics used to bring about the decay.
