Heidi disappeared from the campaign for a while after the National Enquire announced all the affairs.

My guess:

The National Enquire articles are completely correct. Heidi knows it.

Seems to me that Heidi is totally ticked and this is one way to get back at Cruz.

I think we have a winner. This was my first thought, too.

That immigrant comment will be all over the Sunday shows, along with delegate hanky-panky in Arizona.

And, if rumor is to be believed, a new poll in Indiana with devastating results for Cruz.

You nailed it.
Heidi is supposed to be so smart.
So we’re supposed to believe this long into the campaign, with all the coaching etc, and at this critical point and all the marbles for Indiana for Cruz, she just lets that slip out?

I don’t buy it. We all know women like her. After the Enquirer story broke, I think Heidi was just biding her time and waiting for the perfect moment to stick it Ted.
When Ted finally quits, I expect the separation to follow soon after.
