It appeared W’s Christianity was real. For all I know, so is Cruz’s. I don’t think we can criticize someone’s religious depth. I will give them that. But you can be a religious person and still sin badly. Maybe W was the least evil of the bunch of Bushes, but he was not free to govern according to his morals, if he had good morals.

I remember him laughing about his amnesty bill, “See you at the bill signing.” Thank goodness so many Americans were sickened into action by his arrogance.
