I’ve always wondered about Sarah’s turn on Cruz. There’s a story for the gossip columns. Maybe he put the moves on her or one of her daughters!

And, yes, although Rush went in a different direction than his family, he may very well be in awe of lawyers - especially ‘constitutional’ experts. And Levin is one of his close friends who he put in the radio business. But he can support Cruz without insulting Trump voters. That’s not necessary. I don’t remember him insulting McCain voters - but then McCain didn’t have any voters, did he?

“I’ve always wondered about Sarah’s turn on Cruz.”

I’ve always thought it had to do with Cruz cozying up to McConnell in the Senate and the role he then played supporting the Mississippi run-off scandal pushing Daniels out. CTH has the details.

At the time of her endorsement she was unaware of his undeclared loan from Goldman Sachs. She must have felt snookered in a number of ways.

Yes, Rush idolizes lawyers. I think the intelligence of most lawyers is overrated. And a lawyer may not be able to do anything but the law, anyway.
