Trump has exposed both as "full-throated" puppets of the GOP-Establishment.

Cruz is supported by the Bushes. It doesn't get anymore establishment then that.

I don't know why all you Trumpsters are complaining about Rush. Is it because he hasn't offered full-throated support for your beloved hero The Donald? You'd be surprised (or maybe you wouldn't) to know there's millions of his listeners who chide him for taking it easy on that puffed up, narcisstic conman Trump.

There's millions of holes in Trump's positions, and Rush lets him slide. Easy pickings for attacking. Any other candidate with a sad story like Trump's, and Rush would have nailed him long ago.

You won't believe it, but the reason he hasn't nailed Trump is probably because they're buddies. They've played golf together, and Rush can't bring himself to slam a buddy. Even one with as dismal a record as a "conservative" as Trump. So lay off Rush.

Limbaugh = Globalist/Internationalist/Establishment

The Founding Father’s were NOT Globalist/Internationalist or some type of ruling Establishment that most of the public dislikes. That’s what was in Europe at the time and most of the rest of the world. It’s what our Founders were trying to escape.

Today there are many Globalist/Internationalist/Establishment in both major political parties We just have to be able recognize them when we see them. Limbaugh has been a Globalist for a very long time. Just some people are realizing it now. I tuned Limbaugh out back in 1997. Every once in a while (once every 5 years)I will tune back in, and within a few minutes I’m turning the dial because I can no loner listen to the Establishment bull.

Limbaugh did some good things for the conservatives but he is a Globalist/Internationalist/Establishment first type.

with a little massaging this open letter will serve a devastating hit to Rushs’ already flailing reputation. The guys got no integrity.

It is easy to sit on the sidelines and criticize someone who through timing and dedication created a powerhouse platform that brought conservatism into the main stream.

The question is; Why is he willing to burn it down?

what you’re essentially describing (3rd paragraph) is likely a significant reason to explain Rush and Levin’s behavior, although I doubt they would ever see it in themselves. Envy can be a powerful motivator on a subconscious level. It can be insidious and lead to one’s own self-destruction if not recognized and dealt with.

The typical cycle of envy that becomes toxic to self:
Envy -—> leads to resentment -—> causes anger -—> the anger is then projected onto the source of your anger. (e.g., You want to get rid of the anger because it’s an unjustifiable anger. It feels inherently uncomfortable because you cannot rationalize the irrational.)

I’ve had way too much coffee. :-)

It seems that when Trump said he had no problem with perverted men sharing the bathroom with females, which includes little girls whose dad must wait outside the door for them unless he identifies as a woman, that did it for Rush.

Depending on what state you live in your children in the public schools are already being exposed to this but hey maybe no one will notice.

These questions would have never even came up 20 years ago.

Trump exposed who is a real friend of the American People and who is a friend of the Rich Power Class GOPe. Looks like Rush was thinking of his own pocket and not what is good for the nation. Even if he isn’t nominated, Trump has changed forever the political stage. Rush must GO!

Thank you for your insight and I agree but the choice is between Trump and Cruz, when I look at Cruz I see a fraud, a very stealthy and hypocritical fraud. Cruz is like a serpent very cunning, he is something like the description of the Anti-Christ someone who is so convincing that may be able to fool even the elect. Cruz has a religious message and to me it is very cultish. Cruz really thinks he is all that and I believe that he is a hypocrite which makes him very dangerous—remember David Koresh? All sweet talk and Bible verses, the devil can quote Bible verses all day long if he wants to.

I look at Cruz and I look at Trump, both men have faults. You can see Trump’s a mile away but you have to get real close to Cruz to see his. Trump has been in the public eye for 30 years. He has been an adulterer but people do wrong things and they mature and change and I think Trump has. Jesus saved his greatest criticisms for the hypocritical clergy of his day not the obvious sinners and in the end it was the hypocritical clergy who had him crucified not the people at the local pub.

Cruz is a conservative.

Trump is a patriot, but not an ideological conservative.

But, ironically, America is an ideology. Consequently, I can happily listen to Cruz, but not (for any length of time) to Trump.

Herbert Hoover was a patriot, too - even famously anticommunist - and he ended up paving the way for the New Deal, and in time the “Great Society.”

We must have rational economics which will get us out of the vicious cycle of high deficits, higher tax rates - leading to even higher deficits and even more self-defeating higher tax rates. Hoover, good man that he was, did not foresee that consequence, economists’ accurate warnings notwithstanding. So onto the merry-go-round America hopped.

The 1932 election was between Tweedildum and Tweedledumber.
2016 promises to be between Tweedildum and Tweedilkleptocrat.

All the time that Rush was on the air there was never a nationalist candidate running for President (Reagan excepted) so he just went along with all the GOP baloney. Trump was totally out of the box and was not preapproved by the GOP establishment. He was a wildcard and the GOP control freaks could not have that.

You mis pronounce Trumpists he is really saying Trump Pests. If you watch his Ditto Cam the facial expressions and Rolling eyes along with the hand flinging you get a better understanding of his contempt for "Trump Supporters" an expressions he can't seem to find in his vocabulary.

I am a lifer with Rush and will remain a listener but I am deeply disappointed in his whole Trump Supporter put down routine.
