This delegate thing (and stealing of same) is all news to me and I’m still trying to figure it out. In the past, the conventions I recall is that a Pubbie wins as the nominee, goes into the convention and gets formally nominated.

I was curious if the rules change (1237) if delegates get disqualified. If enough get disqualified, does the rule committee then select the nominee. Something seems fishy. Cruz is openly stealing delegates in multiple states that could be challenged. Not even trying to hide it. In Wisconsin, Gov. Walker has chosen delegates that according to state rules, were to be picked by the Cruz campaign. Cruz said he may challenge. Is this delegate fiasco all a distraction from something bigger? Or am I just paranoid?
