MENDELSSOHN: QUARTET IN D, OP. 44/1, MOLTO ALLEGRO VIVACE

Felix Mendelssohn could write like a pro in his teens. He uses a lot of notes and likes to write very fast movements. This movement in sonata format is very, very fast, and it’s a lot of fun. The first violinist in this quartet is a champ.
