I'm trying to keep my white privilege in check here, but outside of urban centers, and places with a high number of professionals, I don't think I've ever seen a black person in a Starbucks.

WHO does Starbucks think will go to a store in Ferguson, MO?

Very few people of *any* color I'd think.

If I had the opportunity to even be in Missouri, I'd drive through that town as fast as possible.

They don’t care if anyone goes to the Ferguson, MO Starbucks. What is important is that they maintain moral superiority over the rest of us. Building an unprofitable franchise location is the price of smugness.
