You have to add the National Review, where this article comes from, to that list. How many of their hate-filled screeds have likened Trump to Hitler, or accused him of inciting violence?

Note that the author is either #NeverTrump or darn close. He’s absolutely right. If Trump weren’t running and Cruz were winning instead, he’d get 98% as much violent crap as Trump is getting. They ain’t protesting Trump (okay, maybe 2%, as noted). They’re protesting ENFORCING THE LAW.

Am I wrong to believe that some in the media are thrilled at the prospect so long as the Left is leading the charge? The left has *always* led the charge.
Terrorists have always come disproportionately from two groups: islamists and leftists. That is because violence is in their blood.

I’m not a Trump guy by any means, but I’ve noticed how the media are paving the way for a very bloody summer by - for all intents and purposes - excusing the anti-Trump violence and thuggery by blaming it all on Trump, either implicitly or explicitly.

Now now.
Cruz (and his remaining supporters) insist that violence is caused by Trump.
Never mind the decades long violence of the communist flag carrying contingent.
Never mind over a thousand years of continuous Muslim violence.
#Blacklivesmatter riots in Missouri and Maryland? No, it’s caused by the atmosphere of Trump.
Imam Ted and the Tedomite Cruzlims couldn’t be wrong on the cause, could they? I mean Ted is the fulfillment of prophecy.. His dad and Saint Stabby have told us so.

Both Hillary and sanders use the words “fight” and “fighting” in their signs and in their rhetoric. It occurred to me that this is not just a metaphor, but that they are actually signaling their supporters to engage in physical violence. They know who the media will blame.

Not at all. First, riots will increase ratings. Second, no matter what the evidence, they will blame the violence on Trump and/or Republicans, even if 98% of the violence is instigated by Democrats. For this reason, I urge all conservatives to absolutely stay away from Democratic events.

French is correct. The drive in the MSM to drum up violence by convention time is frighteningly pervasive. “If it bleeds, it leads.”

I wish they would stop saying “Anti-Trump Protestors” and just call them “Democrat Rioters” which is what they are.

Clearly the media sympathizes with these Mexican flag-waving crowds in much the same way that it sympathized with the rioters at Ferguson and Baltimore. But And when you excuse political violence, you tend to get more of it. Bonus for journalists looking for exciting stories. Thats not a bug, thats a feature.

Well they are downplaying it like crazy.
You know if there were anti-Hillary protestors acting like this it would be wall to wall coverage.
