I’ve actually said over and over on FR I’m voting for the nominee. As a Cruz supporter who has tried to remain civil I’d like to be treated civilly here. Realizing FR is a small sample and hoping Trump supporters nationwide aren’t behaving as obnoxiously as those here because votes will be needed to defeat Hillary.
As a Trump supporter, I find your post to be anything BUT "civil"; rather it is "OBNOXIOUS" in the extreme.
John, the anger you see here is just a reflection of that which exists nationwide. Frank discussion is allowed thanks to Free Republic for all to see whereas the anger elsewhere is cloaked during polite discussion amongst friends and co-workers yet is still just below the surface. If this war between supporters is unsettling, imagine the angst that is out there in the world of Walmart shoppers, oil and coal employees, manufacturing employees effected by most favored nation status nations like China, offshoring customer service functions and on and on.
Hi John, I’m a hugh Trump supporter who has come to immensely dislike Sen. Cruz through the man’s own words and actions. It’s great to hear from Cruz folks and former Cruz supporters who say they will vote Trump in the general. We do need to unite.
I’m with you on the civility bid. But I don’t think Trump supporters here have been any worse than Cruz supporters.
