Friday, April 29, 2016: Live stream of Donald Trump’s keynote speech at the California Republican Party Convention’s Kickoff Lunch Banquet in San Francisco, CA. Mr. Trump is scheduled to speak at 12:00 PM PDT.
No rallies today just the keynote speech @ 4pm EDT.

You are right on the money. If Pence wants to be re-elected, he better announce today or tomorrow and say, that he has had a change of mind.....and, that he is now 100% endorsing and voting for Donald J. Trump. If he does not do that immediately...he will lose his re-election campaign. Can the Governor be that dumb and stupid? Ted Cruz & Carly Fiorina are naught but, political poison.
If Trump walks into the convention he has EVERY right to pick his OWN VP!!!!!

Cruz has already picked his VP, Lol. But I didn't get from the article whether the presidential nominee has a right to pick his VP, or whether the convention must approve the selection.

They always have, but I'm not sure if there has been a perfunctory nomination and vote on the nominee's VP pick in the past.
And the VP does give an acceptance speech. Recall Sarah's in 2008.
I'm wondering if the convention is required to nominate and vote on the VP selection, and if what has most always been perfunctory could be turned into another opportunity to undermine Trump.
