The American healthcare system has not collapsed as predicted by opponents of Obamacare. The health care industry has adapted and for the most part prospered because of the massive revenue being pumped into the system. As long as the government does not own the means of production and its labor force, Americans will not see much difference in access and care. The danger comes when the money runs out, i.e. the insurance companies and government go broke. All bets except oppressive taxes are off the table when that happens.

ERs have closed. Rural hospitals are closing. Doctor and nurse shortages exist already.
Don’t kid yourself the American healthcare system is teetering. It can be saved but not if Ocare is in place

Prospered? Do you read the news? Big firms are laying off, consolidating and pulling out of the individual markets. Coops are outright failing. I work at a health care insurance company. We just laid off 165 people and we’re pulling out of Oregon (another 50 some-odd layoffs at year end). Yes they are adapting, but I wouldn’t say prospering.
