Mostly when I hear "Spend More!" it's generally for more government programs which pretty much just enrich the Government Employee/Lobbyist power blocks.
Maybe he means something different, but nowadays I don't trust anyone saying we need to spend more.

The story was thin. Icahn is manifestly far too smart to say something so numb without context. I’d be interested to find out the details of what he meant.
