We had a female captain in charge of our Field Artillery School (USAFASFS) Office Basic Course back in 1988. She led a 12 mile ruck march and, when it was over, one guy walked over and picked up her ruck. She had a PILLOW inside. That’s all. I had 70 pounds of sand because I was training for Ranger School.

When I was at Jump School in ‘76, the Black Hats never dropped the female officers for pushups. Butterbars like me were dropped at least a half dozen times a day, on top of the hundreds of pushups all of us did as part of training.
