In the debates King Trumpy said he would slap a huge tax on them. He used the example of Ford building a new plant in Mexico and said he would just tax them so that it would unprofitable for them. He didn’t use the word, but I will... by DECREE I assume.

There are any number of legal departments associated around labor laws that can slap a lawsuit on the companies. These people aren't being replaced because they are bad workers but because workers in Mexico get paid a lot less.

There is the bully pulpit you call out the CEO in a press conference to explain himself. Then you keep beating up on the company until no one in their right mind wants their product.

Place a bill in congress for Tariffs against the company.

I'm sure there are any number of ways to make life hell for the company.

How many of the lay offs affect minorities? I'm sure you could get the NAACP after this company for a shakedown as well.

Don't pretend that a President can't make business difficult for companies that disrespect American workers.

I'm not in favor of the government that wants to "make life hell" for any company. I'm in favor of the free market and capitalism.

I don't like it when Obammy makes it difficult on fossil fuel companies. And I would not be in favor of King Trumpy making it difficult on Ford or Apple.

I don't favor a form of government where the government punishes companies or industries just because the leadership at the time wants to play favorites (even for the sake of "job creation")

When Trump slaps a tax on Ford Motor company for building their plant in Mexico..... the “good paying jobs” he might create here in this country are union jobs. They’ll be united auto worker jobs. That should help everybody don’t you know....
