So promoting values that reflect the interests of the American people - as the people themselves understand them - is a heretical virus infecting constitutional conservatism? That is your view? Why did the founding fathers allow for voting at all. Why didn't they just create a house of lords to do what is best for the people.

Tell me - how does this peculiar view of yours differ from the head pigs of a central communist committee determining what is best for the barnyard animals.
