I expect that the Democrats will hit Donald Trump really, really, really hard for his past support of Democrats. It will absolutely destroy Trump in the General Election.

But to my point: Hillary can preface every statement in the debates with “You supported me on...” “You supported our platform on...” “You were for before you were against...” “You were against before you were for...” and leave the Donald of today arguing with the Donald of yesterday. He will have to defend his position changes - and end up calling himself a flip-flopper.
They killed Romney on Obamacare doing just that and took the issue completely off the table that election. I bet they haven’t forgotten how well that worked.
The general is targeting way more than the politically active very small primary population. The vast majority will not listen long enough for a nuanced position evolution statement on every issue. But Hillary can put him in the defensive posture using only his words.
If Trump tries to push the corruption angle against Hillery, expect the Trump University case to come up over and over again. Trump will have to call here legit and his a witch hunt, or concede both are the same and drop it.
And I never said it would hurt Trump with Democrats - that is just something silly you made up to attempt to ridicule me.
Bringing up Trump’s liberal past will cause the same low voter turnout for the Republicans it did with Romney. Hillary only has to depress his vote to win - she has a loyal core in the entitlement class she can depend on. They will show up to vote for more gimmes.
