Does Cruz really think that picking a candidate who polled at about 2% in the primaries will help his campaign? If so, he should go even further and pick Lindsey Graham as his running mate. Lindsey's five supporters will really give Cruz the shot in the arm he needs to close the deal.

Announcing an early pick for VP is the sign of a loser campaign. And to make matters worse - Cruz delayed the announcement for Indiana - if it could have helped it should have been announced before the shclonging Cruz went through (coming in third in many states) of the last two weeks.
