Cruz: Wisconsin win is primary's ‘turning point'

MILWAUKEE — Texas Sen. Ted Cruz reveled in his Wisconsin victory on Tuesday night, calling it a “turning point” in the GOP presidential race and suggesting it's proof he can win future primary contests and the general election.

“We have a choice,” Cruz told a cheering crowd here at the American Serb Hall in Milwaukee. “A real choice.”

“As a result of tonight, as a result of the people of Wisconsin defying the media, defying the pundits, I’m more and more convinced our campaign is going to earn the 1,237 delegates needed to win the Republican nomination,” Cruz said. “Either before Cleveland or at the convention in Cleveland, together we will win a majority of delegates, and together we will beat Hillary Clinton in November.”

Every campaign has politicians trying to turn it around when it looks bleak. I’m not going to fault nor mock Cruz for trying to rally his troops. There are other things I fault him for but not this.

I thought that needed to be repeated, and I appreciate your stand. Probably kinda lonely where you are, but thanks for being generous.

I was...am...a Cruz supporter. Not a lot of us left here. Many have been denied access to this site because they posted similar thoughts to what others on this thread have posted, but their comments were about DT, not about TC...Who knows, I may even get some 'interesting' responses to this post...

For some reason that kid don’t like Daddy. Probably because she’s sick of being dragged around in front of cameras like a trained Seal and Dad is never home anyway. Mom works 80 hours a week at home so the kids get raised by a nanny. They probably miss the nanny.
