That scene gives me hope as well since it was Rhode Island. A state in the past that has been reflexive Democrat and Chafee Republican. Hope this is a sign that the people are waking up!
The last time any Republican generated this much interest and affection in the northeast it was Ronald Reagan. It doesn’t mean Trump will do well in the region in November, but he’ll do better than expected. At the very least he’ll force Hillary to spend time and money in states generally considered safe for Democrats.
