Pajamas at the Trump Tower. Well that sounds inviting. But I have long day ahead of me. Pouring rain at the Westport train station this morning. My umbrella inverted itself in the wind and got on the train sopping wet. If it’s not raining too hard later today I might buy one of those $5 street umbrellas and head by the Trump Tower itself which is sure to have satellite news trucks all around it. Then it’s an early train back home so I can vote Trump in the Connecticut primary!
Then I’ll have some salmon and Brussels sprouts, open a bottle of wine and watch the results come in, with my pajamas of course.
So should be a big night for Trump. He will easily carry all five states by Yuge margins. The only damper is those 54 delegates in PA who will remain “unbound” even if Trump beats Cruz by 30 points, as he probably will. But I’m thinking Cruz’s delegate stealing days might be behind him as the gig is up and America is on to him.
But we should go to sleep tonight with a 400+ delegate lead by Trump over Cruz and Indiana is looking better and better for next week. Trump wins that and we are on a glide path to getting the necessary 1237.
What a week it has been for Donald Trump!
Wait, let me get this straight. You’re not joining us?
You write word pictures well!
So sorry for your inverted umbrella...sounds miserable!
I’ve spent part of the morning already in my ‘war room’ ( front porch) lifting up this election and specifically Donald Trump .....
....praying for protection, for our nation, and for the hearts of people voting today!
May God Bless Donald Trump!!
......and you too, Sam Adams as you go through this day!
Your wet day sounds miserable, but you have a good attitude. How about a pic at Trump Tower for us?
Salmon and broccoli is one of my favorite meals. And I’m out of broccoli, so will sub brussel sprouts (to remind me of Cruz blaming Trump for the Brussels attack) and join you in that feast.
Excellent post! Great sense of place.
