I just got back from voting in Connecticut. Wasn't a long line but most of my neighbors had already voted earlier in the day. They had two tables setup, one for Republican and one for Democrat. No line for the Democrats.

It was a very simple ballot. Just the names of Trump, Cruz, Kasich and I believe Carson was still on there as a choice.

They asked us for our IDs, which I was encouraged by. This never happened when I lived in Massachusetts. You just told them your name and address and was handed a ballot. Could have been anybody. My son tells me that when he went to vote a couple months ago, our names were still listed on the Massachusetts ballot! I wonder who voted for me up there.

Wow, yay, Connecticut! Here in CA they never ask ID and last year I went to vote and someone else had voted for me. They gave me a provisional ballot which I think is the rafter filed in the trash.

RE your names still being listed in Mass.; YIKES and oh oh. :-(

We have ALWAYS had to show picture ID, here in Ct. and I've been voting here for 26 years.

Did they have a separate room, in your voting place, to vote on the town's budget? They divided the gym, where we vote ( the Middle School down by Caralluzi's Newtown )and that room was packed too.

Yes, VERY simple ballot and no, Carson wasn't on our ballot. Just the three still in the race and the fourth line was "unaffiliated", or some other such word, which I found very strange.
